A friend of mine called me today and was just so overwhelmed with that book and she said she read it and she loved it and she said those names sounds so familiar and when she got to the end of the book, she was like oh yeah so she called me and was just over the moon about how good it was and how many she had bought extra now to give away to people, and some of her friends have ordered a whole bunch to give to their grandchildren and their great grandchildren and I just wanted you to know that you’ve made a lot of people happy especially me thank you Jimmy. You have a very special place in my heart. I love you.

This is a wonderful heartfelt book. It’s a good read for young and old. Takes you back to a time before when things were a lot different than they are now .Makes you appreciate what you have. this would make a great Christmas present.

This took me back to a more simpler time in life. The love of a family and
a community. We need more books like this for our children! This is definitely a keeper for my grandchildren at Christmas time. Can't wait for the next one!

My children absolutely loved this story! The messages throughout the book are such great life lessons. The American Sign Language portion of the book is also very important! Sign Language gives a voice to so many. So very happy my children where able to read and enjoy this Christmas masterpiece!

Finally, a wonderful family book that will warm your heart and lift your Christmas spirit. As an adult, I really enjoyed the message of love and community. My daughter loved the story and the artwork. She said she would love to have gone on the journey the children went on in this beautiful book. A must read for the whole family!!!
